I hope this letter finds you and your loved ones in good health and feeling safe and secure. Our hearts go out to those of you who have been impacted directly by COVID-19 as well as our deepest gratitude to those who are fighting this battle on the front lines.

Over the past weeks, and for some of us, months, our lives have been turned upside down. Life here at Velveteen is no exception. The COVID-19 Pandemic has spread across the world in a way that no one could have predicted and we are encouraged by the daily acts of support we see around our global community as we all work to find solutions to deal with the emotional, physical and financial impact to our daily lives.

Velveteen’s commitment to delivering beautiful, high quality garments means that the margins we operate on are extremely low and, in this environment, we are in a very challenging position. However, perseverance and hard work are valuable lessons, which we know children learn best by example and we are committed to staying the mile and showing our kids our dedication and perseverance in these challenging times.

Our industry has been hit very hard and our business has not been immune to the financial impact. We’ve had to make very difficult decisions but remain dedicated to our customers and communities and to a strong future together. As always, your continued support and loyalty during this difficult time is deeply appreciated and will help to support an important cause.
